For Every Child

UNICEF UK is returns as a Charity and Team Partner for the Clipper 2025-26 Race, marking a decade of partnership between the world’s most unique ocean adventure and the global child rights organisation.

Continuing its presence as a team entry, the ‘Big Blue Boat’ will set sail for a fifth consecutive circumnavigation, as it flies the flag for children’s rights across the globe. This partnership is not only about raising vital funds but also about using the power of global adventure to raise awareness of the challenges facing children worldwide.

First Mate

Diana Vega

Isle of Wight, UK

Raised in Cowes, Diana started sailing professionally during the pandemic when she restored a yacht from wreck and skippered it across the Bay of Biscay. It was then on to crewing in the Solent and Caribbean. Now sailing full time, she’s part of the Clipper Maintenance Team and a Clipper 2025–26 First Mate. Ambitious and driven, Diana aims to grow as a leader and one day become a Clipper Race Skipper.
